The Hidaya AI companion is a learning aid. It is designed to help you explore Islamic knowledge in a friendly way and to point you toward references from the Quran and authentic Hadith. Please read the following so you understand what it is — and what it is not.

It does not issue rulings (fatwas)

The companion will not give you a binding religious ruling on personal matters. Islamic rulings depend on context, school of thought, and individual circumstances that only a qualified scholar can properly weigh. For any personal religious decision, consult a trusted, knowledgeable scholar.

It can be wrong

Like all AI, the companion can make mistakes, misremember details, or state something confidently that is inaccurate. Always verify any reference (for example a verse or Hadith) against an authentic source before relying on or sharing it.

It is not a person or an authority

The companion is software, not a scholar, imam, or counsellor. It cannot replace human guidance, and it should not be used for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

How your messages are handled

Your messages are sent to our server to generate a reply using Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not attach your identity to them, and your chat history is kept only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Use it with intention

Treat the companion as a starting point for learning and reflection, not as a final source of truth. When in doubt, return to the Quran, authentic Hadith, and the scholars of your community.
