Hidaya AI (“the app”, “we”) is built to respect your privacy. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data or use advertising trackers. This policy explains what the app and this website handle, and why.

Information the app handles

• Location. Used only to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your coordinates are processed on your device and stored locally on it. They are not uploaded to our servers or shared.
• On-device content. Your bookmarks, tasbih counts, and settings are stored only on your device and never uploaded.
• Notifications. Prayer-time reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.

Information this website handles

• Waitlist email. If you optionally join the waitlist, we store the email address you provide and use it only to notify you at launch. It is not linked to any in-app data.
• Donations. If you choose to donate on this website, the payment is processed by LemonSqueezy under their own privacy terms. Donations happen on the website, never inside the app. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, names, emails, or phone numbers (except the optional waitlist email).
• No contacts, photos, or files.
• No payment details — donations are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy.
• No advertising identifiers or third-party ad tracking.
• We do not sell or rent any data to anyone.

Third-party services

We use Cloudflare to host this website and the waitlist endpoint. Donations on the website are processed by LemonSqueezy as our payment provider; their own privacy terms apply to the payment itself.

Older app versions

Earlier versions of the app created a random anonymous install ID, shown in the app’s Settings. It was never linked to your name, email, device contacts, or location. That ID is no longer used for anything. If you email it to us, we will check for any remaining server rows tied to it and delete them.

Data retention

On-device data (your settings, location, bookmarks, and tasbih counts) remains on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Your waitlist email is kept only until you ask us to remove it. We do not store payment or donation records.

Deleting your data

On-device data is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Your waitlist email can be removed on request, and any server rows tied to an old anonymous install ID can be checked and deleted on request. Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
