These terms govern your use of the Hidaya AI mobile app (“the app”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app

Hidaya AI provides Islamic tools including prayer times, a Qibla compass, a Quran reader, a Dua collection, a Tasbih counter, and an AI companion for general learning. The core app is free to use. You do not need an account.

Religious guidance disclaimer

The AI companion offers general educational information and points to references from the Quran and authentic Hadith. It does not issue religious rulings (fatwas) and is not a substitute for a qualified scholar. For personal religious decisions, please consult a trusted, knowledgeable scholar. Accuracy of religious tools

Prayer times are calculated from your location using standard methods and are estimates; verify with your local mosque or authority where precision matters. The Qibla compass relies on your device’s sensors and may be affected by calibration or magnetic interference. Quran and Dua texts are sourced from established editions, but you should verify anything you intend to rely on.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or its AI.
• Do not treat AI output as an authoritative religious ruling.

Payments, subscriptions, and donations

The free tier includes a limited number of AI messages per day. An optional paid subscription unlocks unlimited AI use. On Android, subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play, and Google’s terms and refund policies apply; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account. Optional donations on our website are processed by a third-party payment provider under their own terms. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information it provides is complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI output or on calculated prayer times or Qibla direction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
